Trevor Knox joins Flying Colours as director of maintenance
Trevor Knox (pictured) has joined Flying Colours as its new director of maintenance. He joins the company immediately and will be based at the Peterborough, ON facility. He will report directly to Tony Barrett, senior vice president Technical Services.
Knox is responsible for administering and managing all day-to-day operations relating to maintenance activities that Flying Colours undertakes at the Peterborough facility.
He joins the company following a 24-year career in maintenance within the aerospace industry. His extensive knowledge of Bombardier aircraft, holding endorsements for the Challenger and Global types, also contributed to his selection.
“We’re very pleased that Trevor has taken on the role. His experience across a range of aircraft models that we regularly maintain brings real added value to the business.”
Tony Barrett, SVP Flying Colours, said: “We’re very pleased that Trevor has taken on the role. His experience across a range of aircraft models that we regularly maintain brings real added value to the business.”
Knox added: “With the upcoming ADS B-Out mandate, and our growing customer base for maintenance services, we are going to be increasingly busy, and I’m looking forward to the challenge.
“There are a limited number of companies that can offer such high standards of light to heavy maintenance, as well as interior upgrades and avionic enhancements all under one roof. Flying Colours is one of them, which is one of the reasons I’m excited to be a part of the mix. I plan to maintain and improve these standards, as well as contributing to the company’s continued growth.”
