TMA Group will join Avfuel network
TMA Group, the FBO at Cambridge Municipal Airport will join Avfuel network
TMA Group, the FBO at Cambridge Municipal Airport
and Avfuel Corporation have announced that TMA Group will join Avfuel’s network
of branded FBOs.
TMA assumed management of
the FBO in 2009 and immediately began improving the facility, including
refurbishing the pilot’s lounge and outfitting with free Wi-Fi throughout.
Ramp and taxiway upgrades
are currently underway and future plans include the addition of Jet A fuel, the
acquisition of a new fuel truck and a ground power unit and implanting an
automated weather observing system (AWOS).
“Most of our management
staff are pilots, and as pilots, have preferred to use Avfuel-branded FBOs for
a variety of reasons,” said vice president of TMA Donny Sailors. “We
have always felt that Avfuel provides a quality product at a fair price. It was
a natural fit for Cambridge Municipal.”
Price wasn’t the only factor
in the decision, Sailors added. “We appreciate the marketing support we
receive from Avfuel and look forward to being listed as an Avfuel dealer.”
“TMA Group is committed
to significantly enhancing guests’ experiences at their FBO, and Avfuel is honoured
to be part of that vision,” said Avfuel director of marketing Marci
Ammerman.
