Following his time at the recent Corporate Jet Investor London 2017 conference, Jean Semiramoth, founding partner, The Sharpwings, has issued an updated BizJet market insight report.

In the report, Semiramoth looks at the issues raised during the conference, and digs deeper into data to see if any conclusions can be drawn.

Semiramoth focuses in on the Super mid, long range and ultra long range segments to see if they are overcrowded with too many different models, and whether we are currently in a new cycle.

“Discussions with financiers, as well as senior industry figures at the Corporate Jet Investor conference, indicate that the future for these market segments is still far from certain.” said Semiramoth.

“The business jet market has spent the last eight years seeking renewed growth following the 2008-2009 financial crisis, but with limited success. The number of models offered by the manufacturers in these segments has increased by 50% from 2008–2016 and by 2020 it will have increased by 75% with the introduction of no less than three new models within the next three years.” added Semiramoth.
