StrataJet to open US office

StrataJet, the live online private jet charter booking company, will open up a US office by the end of the year.
The new office, in Silicon Valley CA, will be used as StrataJet’s base for US expansion, three months after the service first launched.
StrataJet’s live charter booking platform launched on September 29 with over 500 European operator aircraft, but during the NBAA the company will give US operators the opportunity to sign up to the service.
When a company does sign up, StrataJet supplies them with its StrataFleet software that is used by operators for charter pricing and availability. The information in StrataFleet then feeds into StrataJet, which is where clients requests charter quotes.
To introduce StrataJet and StrataFleet to operators, the company set up a program called ‘Operation Long Reach’, where the team chose a country or city, and then set up meetings to visit each of the operators there.
“The response we have received from European operators and FBOs during Operation Long Reach has been incredible. Companies like Gama Aviation and Signature Flight Support have seen the benefit of what Stratajet’s technology can do to increase the market reach for their businesses and now is the time for US operators and FBOs to be able to join the party.” said StratJet founder and CEO Jonny Nicol.
Once up and running, StrataJet will use its Silicon Valley office as a base for Operation Long Reach to begin in the US
“As a truly international tech company looking to disrupt and grow a stagnant market, Silicon Valley is the perfect place for Stratajet to set up its US office and to build its Stateside business. We are looking forward to demonstrating our platform at NBAA and inviting all forward thinking companies to be part of this game changing event”.
