Sovereign Business Jets Hawker 800B

Sovereign Business Jets has added a mid-size Hawker 800B to its charter fleet. The aircraft is to be based at Sovereign’s head office and operational centre at London Biggin Hill Airport.

Glen Smith, director of operations at Sovereign Business Jets says: “This particular Hawker 800B, G-VIPI is well known in the UK charter market, and has always been highly regarded. Our entire philosophy revolves around delivering service of the highest quality, and this will be further enhanced as our passengers will enjoy a cabin attendant’s service on every flight.”

“Having previously operated Hawker 700’s, 800’s and 800XP’s, I believe this aircraft model remains very popular as it offers excellent comfort over those longer 3-5 hour sectors. We will be adding further light and mid-size aircraft over the next 12 months,” adds Smith.

The aircraft is not subject to owners release and will be approved to carry pets into the UK through its base at London Biggin Hill. The timing of this addition to the fleet coincides with the announcement of the extended operating hours at London Biggin Hill Airport.

Sovereign Business Jets, part of AYR Group, launched its charter operation in 2014.
