Skyservice Business Aviation has been issued a new Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) for the Gogo Galileo HDX system on Bombardier Challenger CL604, CL605 and CL650s.

The certification approval from Transport Canada means Skyservice becomes the only MRO business in North America to have completed the STC for Gogo’s Galileo system on Challenger aircraft models.

“Connectivity is no longer a luxury, it’s a necessity for today’s business aviation clients,” said Benjamin Murray, president and CEO of Skyservice. “We’re proud to offer Challenger owners and operators high-performance, future-ready solutions, keeping them connected anywhere in the world.”

Created for small to midsize business aircraft, the fuselage-mounted HDX antenna with a Gogo Avance platform connects with the Eutelsat OneWeb constellation of low-Earth-orbit satellites.

Challenger 604 (pictured above), 605 and 650 aircraft already equipped with a Gogo AVANCE system can convert to the Gogo Galileo seamlessly, requiring as little as seven business days for installation.

Certification validation is underway with the FAA, EASA and the National Civil Aviation Agency in Brazil.

Gogo began building the Galileo HDX system in March 2025 after receiving parts manufacturer approval from the FAA. It began shipping out to customers earlier this month.
