Sidanth Rajagopal joins Clasis Law as partner

Clyde and Co is
delighted to announce that senior associate, Sidanth Rajagopal, will be joining
associated Indian law firm Clasis Law as a partner.

Sidanth, who will be based in the New Delhi office, has
developed with the firm’s aviation finance group and will lead the aviation
practice at Clasis Law from 1 July 2011.

Clyde and Co has had an association with
Clasis Law, an Indian law firm with offices in Mumbai, New
Delhi and London,
and its predecessor firm since June 2009.

Clyde and Co’s senior aviation partner,
Philip Perrotta, said: “Sidanth’s move is a very exciting strategic
development for both firms and demonstrates Clyde and Co’s commitment to the
Asian aviation market, and of course in particular India.

“This move is another phase in
strengthening our presence in the region and follows on from a number of
exciting developments in the sector for us, including a new aviation finance
practice in Hong Kong led by Paul Jebely and Oliver Tebbit’s move to lead an
aviation finance capability in Dubai.”
