Scope Aircraft Finance is celebrating its golden, 50th anniversary with a new brand identity and logo.
Founded in 1975 by Joe and Roberta Kemple, Scope Aircraft Finance had $320.8m in total loans at the end of June and serves customers in the 48 contiguous United States.
“50 years is a milestone that reflects our dedication to the aviation industry and helping customers connect to what matters most to them,” said Michael J Smith, president, Scope. “We’re building the next chapter based on the foundation established by the Kemples and kept alive by Charlie Sauter [executive vice president]. Our commitment to personalised service, creative problem-solving and helping customers be the hero of the story remains unchanged.”
Scope’s services are distinguished by its team of experienced lenders, many of whom are pilots or have aviation backgrounds, according to the company. All services – from application to closing to servicing – are provided by the in-house team.
The team matches aviation lending expertise with attention to detail to provide flexible financing options that fit the customer’s goals, claims the company. “These professionals build lasting relationships with customers, offering insights and understanding that only come from first hand experience in the skies.”
Meanwhile, Scope is marking its anniversary with a refreshed brand identity, including a new logo. The rebrand is designed to honour the company’s legacy while signalling a continued commitment to innovation, agility and customer-first service.
Scope Aircraft Finance – a wholly owned subsidiary of $9.9bn Park National Corporation – is based in Columbus Ohio. It is a member of the National Aviation Finance Association (NAFA) and the International Aircraft Dealers Association (IADA).
