Saudi Aramco signs contract for an AgustaWestland AW139 helicopter.

Saudi Aramco has placed an order for an AW139 helicopter from AgustaWestland, to further expand its fleet of AW139 helicopters. This latest AW139 will be used to perform offshore and VIP transport operations in Saudi Arabia.

More than 130 AW139 helicopters have been sold in the Middle East to a number of different operators.

In the region, customers are using the helicopter for a variety of missions, such as offshore transport, VIP/Corporate shuttle, SAR/EMS, utility, troop transport, patrol, law enforcement and homeland security.
