UK specialist aviation services provider RVL Group has joined forces with Avinode, the world’s leading air charter sourcing platform, to support RVL’s enhanced aviation service capabilities.

East Midlands Airport-based RVL has recently added an eight-seat Beechcraft King Air B200 passenger aircraft to its fleet. Joining Avinode, the online marketplace which matches the requirements of brokers with the services offered by aircraft operators, is the perfect next step, says RVL’s Head of Business Development, David Lacy.

“Avinode offers RVL a way of marketing itself to the majority of air charter brokers in the UK and across Europe. It will enable us to put our new King Air firmly in their line of vision and will help us expand our customer base,” added Lacy.

Avinode was created in 2002 and its online platform has helped revolutionise the matching of air charter demand with suppliers. Every year, the Swedish based platform processes around 4.5 million trip searches and six million trip requests.

“We are delighted that RVL is now a part of the Avinode community, which gives the company’s new King Air just the right boost in the marketplace,” commented Alexandra MacRae, Head of Marketing & Customer Experience.

RVL’s new aircraft is the only ‘commuter’ configured eight seat King Air B200 available for charter in the UK. It is expected to prove ideal for corporate travel, medical team transport, engineering crew transport and other staff and employee travel.

The rare eight-seat configuration gives it greater adaptability and makes it a more cost-effective option for companies seeking to move crews and personnel.
