Rolls-Royce has rolled-out the 2,000th BR710 engine at Dahlewitz
Rolls-Royce has
announced the roll-out of the 2,000th BR710 engine at Dahlewitz in Germany.
Dr. Michael Haidinger, managing director and president civil small and medium engines, said: “The BR710 has seen global success with
operators of business jets and has prevailed on the market owing to its
reliability and efficiency. Aircraft equipped with this engine have set new
performance records for range, speed and altitude. The success of the BR710 on
the global market is attributable to the outstanding efforts of our engineers,
assembly workforce and service team. They assure the success of the engine,
today and in the future.”
The BR710 engine has become the power plant of choice for
Bombardier Global Express, Global Express XRS and Global 5000 as well as
Gulfstream G500 and G550 business jets.
