Business jet company Rizon Jet opens new facility in Doha
Rizon Jet has opened its new facility in Doha. The facility is an FBO and MRO with the
Qatar CAA awarding it a Part 145 for line maintenance and repair station in
April 2011.
The company is already in advanced stage of attaining
its EASA Part 145 base maintenance approval for Challenger 604/605, Hawker 700,
750XP, 800, 800XP, 850XP and 900XP as well as all series of the Global Express.
In the longer term, Rizon Jet is pursuing approvals for
maintenance accreditation on Bermudian, Isle
of Man, Pakistan,
UAE and Saudi Arabian-registered aircraft. With a very sizable hangar and is
capable of accommodating four Global XRS or nine Challenger 604/605 aircraft.
Patrick Enz, Rizon Jet chief executive said “Our
aircraft maintenance team has worked very hard for this achievement and we are
very proud to have obtained the certification of Qatar CAA. The maintenance
division together with the inauguration of the FBO / VIP Terminal in Doha and London Biggin
Hill in the next days will complete our range of services.”
