Rizon Jet was named Best Handling Agent/FBO in the BACA excellence awards last week.

The awards, run by the Baltic Air Charter Association (BACA) are voted for by the BACA members, which include air brokers, airports, business aircraft operators and owners.

Rizon Jet’s chief executive officer, Captain Hassan Al-Mousawi said: “To be shortlisted alongside more established operators in the category of Best Handling Agent/FBO is a real honour for Rizon Jet, a relative newcomer to the industry. We are very proud to have won the title in such prestigious company. It’s a fantastic endorsement and a clear indication that we are getting things right when it comes to providing innovative and outstanding turnkey business aviation services. This is a wonderful endorsement of our owner’s visionary investment and a timely reward for our team.”

Earlier this year, Rizon Jet reported a 300 per cent increase in traffic at its London Biggin Hill VIP terminal and this trend looks to continue with the addition of new approvals at its MRO (the Learjet 45 and the Bombardier Challenger 300) and expansion of the charter executive fleet managed by affiliate Oryx Jet to include an additional Bombardier Challenger 604 from September.

Last month, in its hangar and FBO, Rizon Jet hosted a well-attended evening reception for the Business Aircraft Europe Expo (BAE) 2012 held at Biggin Hill.

“Events such as this, where we showcased our facility alongside leading lifestyle brands, demonstrate that we are becoming known as the number one for luxury and service, and companies want to be affiliated with us for that reason. Every day, we strive to set the finest standards in the industry, and that once clients have experienced our level of service we always look forward to welcoming them back,” said Captain Hassan Al-Mousawi.
