RAS Completions will now be able to work on all types of Gulfstream business aircraft. In parallel, their sister company RAS Interiors has been granted approval for the manufacture and installation of items relating to aircraft interiors.

The first customer following grant of approval was a Gulfstream G550 from the NetJets fleet of corporate aircraft that entered the RAS Completions facility last month. The aircraft was be stripped to bare metal and receive a new livery in the NetJets style, a process that involves three weeks work that also includes interior modifications.

Chris Ransley, director of the RAS Group, says that the award of these approvals will bring welcome opportunities for new business.

“The RAS Group is thrilled to be recognised for good workmanship in this way and we now look forward, in particular, to supporting Gulfstream’s European customer base. We expect the higher level of work to contribute to sustainable growth of our company and to bring new jobs as well,“ concluded Ransley.
