Company now has Android adding to iPhone and iPad apps

PrivateFly.com has announced an expansion to
its mobile application services. Following the iPhone and iPad app launch, the
company has now developed and launched the Android app.

The app is free to download on either
platform and instructs the phone user to enter the dates of their trip together
with departure and arrival locations (a search facility for airfield name or
city is included).

Adam Twidell, chief executive officer of
PrivateFly.com comments: “We launched our unique app for iPhone and iPad
in 2010 and it has proved very popular with customers, who find it quick and
easy to use – and enjoy its immediacy of pricing and aircraft information.

“With the Android platform becoming
increasingly popular, and following demand from our customers, we have now
launched the equivalent app for Android users.”

“We will continue to look at how we can
develop and enhance our mobile applications, recognising that travellers at all
levels are demanding greater choice and control in booking travel on the move,
private jets are certainly not immune to these overall consumer trends.
Although of course, it’s critical that such technological developments sit
side-by-side with the personalised VIP support that private jet customers
demand and expect”
