Premiair has taken delivery of a Legacy 500, the second of the type in Asia.

The Indonesia-based operator also took delivery of a Legacy 650 at the same time. Both aircraft will be managed on behalf of their owners and made available for charter.

“This clean sheet designed Legacy 500, the first for Indonesia, was delivered to an existing Embraer Executive Jets customer,” said Claudio Camelier, vice president of sales, Asia Pacific & Middle East, Embraer Executive Jets. “We are grateful for the customer’s continuous support and this repeat order reflects their confidence in the products we deliver, and equally important, the comprehensive customer support we provide.”

Embraer delivered the first Asia-based Legacy 500 to China’s Sparkle Roll Jet in January 2016.

“Embraer Executive Jets’ portfolio of aircraft is popular in Indonesia because of its low operating costs, high performance and good range,” said Ari Daryata Singgih, president director, Premiair. “The Legacy 500, for example, appealed to the customer because of its excellent performance, quiet cabin, thoughtful interior design and smooth flying characteristics of the Fly By Wire system.”
