Portside launches Horizon to assist larger operations

Portside has launched Horizon, a new software system designed to serve larger, more complex flight departments, fractional ownership programmes and jet card operators.
Horizon is a fully cloud-based, modular platform that gives operators advanced reporting, third-party integrations and powerful application programming interface (API) capabilities.
Already deployed by one the largest operators in the US — name undisclosed — the software has proven itself in the field, according to Portside.
“Horizon is a direct response to the growing need for a more flexible, powerful, and user-friendly software solution in the business aviation space,” said Alek Verntisky, CEO at Portside. “We designed this platform to address the challenges faced by complex flight departments and operators who require scalability, automation, and real-time insights to optimise their operations.”
Now available to operators worldwide, Horizon offers a configurable system that eliminates the need to navigate multiple platforms, providing a unified interface where operational, financial and compliance data can be easily accessed. The software also features Microsoft Power BI reporting, real-time wind data and built-in crew training tracking with automated compliance alerts.
Designed for remote workforces, Horizon allows access to information anytime, anywhere, while using advanced security and compliance standards to keep sensitive data safe.
As part of the Portside Platform, Horizon also integrates with existing aviation solutions.
