Pilatus Aircraft announces its sales and service network for its new PC-24 business jet.
Pilatus has announced 10 sales and service centres worldwide that will support its new turboprop, the PC-24. The company has appointed facilities in North and South America, Australia, Africa and Europe (see below for locations). Pilatus continues to negotiate with others to cover more parts of the world. It is expected that more locations will be announced soon.
Markus Bucher, CEO of Pilatus Aircraft says: “We are proud to announce the extension of our partnership with an outstanding network of authorised sales and service centres for the PC-24.”
The first PC-24 prototype is under construction at Pilatus headquarters in Stans, Switzerland, and is scheduled to make its first flight by the end of 2014. Three aircraft will be used for flight testing. Certification and first customer deliveries are scheduled for 2017.
Pilatus will start taking orders for the PC-24 and announcing key launch customers at the EBACE convention in Geneva, Switzerland in May, 2014, according to Oscar Schwenk, chairman of Pilatus Aircraft.
