Simon Phippard joins Bird and Bird

Simon Phippard has joined Bird & Bird as Of Counsel in the International Aviation & Defense Group based in London.

He has worked in the aerospace industry for over twenty years and recently joined Bird & Bird after over seven years at Rolls-Royce.

Phippard will work on disputes and commercial matters in the aerospace industry and has a particular interest in anything to do with turbofan jet engines.

He was the lawyer responsible for Rolls Royce Total Care and other “Power By the Hour” programmes and anti-bribery governance for a number of years.
