Phillip Roberts joining J.P. Morgan Private Bank
Philip Roberts is joining J.P. Morgan Private Bank as an executive director focused on lending to clients in emerging markets.
He will focus on business jet, yacht, property and art lending. Roberts will report to Elena Griffin, market manager for emerging markets and Ryan McGlynn, head of capital advisory services for J.P. Morgan Private Bank’s Europe, Middle East and Africa region.
“We are excited to welcome Phillip to J.P. Morgan to further drive our advice-led lending solutions for clients and prospects in these important markets for the firm,” said Griffin.
Roberts joins from Barclays Private Bank where he led credit structuring. He also worked in the business jet and helicopter teams at Lloyds Banking Group and Royal Bank of Scotland.
“Phillip’s deep background in structured credit and debt solutions for ultra-high net worth entrepreneurs adds further depth to our team and positions the firm to best serve clients in the region,” said McGlynn.
