Joe Lombardo assumes as president ad interim from July to August

Jet
Aviation has announced that Peter G. Edwards, president of the Jet Aviation
group, will leave the company this summer. Edwards will maintain a full
schedule through 4 July and will then support a transition to new leadership,
with a planned final departure of 31 August 31. During this period, Joe
Lombardo, executive vice president of General Dynamics Aerospace Group, will
assume the role of president ad interim.

“I want to express my
sincere thanks to Peter Edwards for leading the Jet Aviation group over the
past four years. Since the acquisition by General Dynamics in late 2008, Peter
diligently maintained Jet Aviation’s position as the leading independent
service provider in the market to all OEM’s,” said Lombardo. “I wish
him the very best in his future endeavors.”

“As we transition to new
leadership, Jet Aviation remains committed to its strong customer focus in all
lines of business, and to providing premier business aviation services to its
discriminating global clientele and the entire OEM community. The company is
positioned to expand its aviation services in key markets around the world, and
we look forward to continuing to provide the highest levels of service to our
customers,” said Lombardo.

Peter Edwards joined Jet
Aviation as CEO in May 2007, with an initial mandate to modernize and expand
the company’s business aviation services. He oversaw the successful sale and
transition to General Dynamics in November 2008. Under his leadership, Jet
Aviation expanded its activities in the Middle East, and established new
operations in Russia, Brazil and Asia.

“It has been an immense privilege to work for Jet
Aviation for 4 great years and lead this global team of talented and committed
people,” said Edwards. “This was the most exciting and challenging
time in my professional career, while managing the company through significant
cultural evolutions resulting from ownership changes in 2005 and 2008. It was
also a pleasure to work with General Dynamic’s executive team.”
