Fort Lauderdale-based Panorama Investments, operating as Panorama Aero, has strengthened its position in the special mission aerospace sector, after completing the acquisition of Triangle Aero (Holdings), which is managed by Falko Regional Aircraft.

The acquired assets include Beechcraft King Air 350 and Pilatus PC-12 NG aircraft, parts, and related ground support equipment.

Panorama Aero CEO Pari Olver Parchi said: “We are excited to complete the acquisition of Triangle Aero assets, which helps further expand Panorama Aero’s capabilities, particularly into the aircraft parts and ground support equipment markets.”

Parchi added: “Panorama Aero was established with the belief that non-commercial specialised aerospace assets require financing and support solutions from those that understand the complexities innate in this market.”

Panorama Aero was established in 2013 and owns a portfolio of non-commercial specialised turbo-prop aircraft on lease to US government contractors. The company offers capabilities across a wide range of support services including procurement, logistics, and management of aerospace assets.

Triangle Aero and Falko are wholly-owned by funds managed by investment affiliates of leading global investment manager Fortress Investment Group, which has about $41.5bn in assets under management.

Aircraft operating leasing company Falko focuses on the regional aircraft sector. The company has acquired 140 aircraft with a total value of $2bn since its expansion into all regional aircraft types in 2013. Falko’s strategy centres on growing its portfolio of funds and aircraft under management and the continued development of products and services in support of its aircraft lease management activity.
