Oriens Aviation based at London Biggin Hill Airport, UK and Ireland sales distributor for the Pilatus PC-12 NG turboprop, have confirmed they had three aircraft sales. A total of 91 PC-12 NGs were delivered worldwide in 2016.

Interest in the 9 seat PC-12 has been re-ignited since Oriens Aviation was appointed sales distributor according to Edwin Brenninkmeyer, CEO of Oriens Aviation.

In March 2017, new legislation by EASA permits UK based commercial operators to offer for charter the PC-12 single engine turboprop.

“We are being cautious in our prediction for sales this year but I can say that we have pre-ordered 3 already so that our customers can select interiors and their own choice of livery during factory visits.”

Brenninkmeyer said: “We are being cautious in our prediction for sales this year but I can say that we have pre-ordered 3 already so that our customers can select interiors and their own choice of livery during factory visits. In mid-2017, Pilatus will deliver the 1,500th PC-12.  We hope that may be one of our sales!”

The Pilatus PC-12 NG will be exhibited by Oriens Aviation at the Elite Jet event at Biggin Hill, Aero Expo at Wycombe Air Park and at the Goodwood Festival of Speed at Goodwood Airfield in 2016.

“The PC-12’s economical operating costs combined with its 9 seat capacity, long range and versatility using short grass runways, will enable commercial aviation to flourish and emulate those in other European counties, the USA and other continents,” added Brenninkmeyer.
