Operations begin at Landmark Tampa International Airport
Landmark Aviation operations officially began on 8 October 2011
Landmark Aviation officially began operations on 8 October at Tampa International
Airport.
“We are excited to finally be a part of the Tampa International
Airport and surrounding
communities,” president and chief executive Dan Bucaro explained. “We have been
looking forward to operating on this field for several months now.”
The facility includes hangar space in addition to a passenger
lobby, pilot lounge, executive conference room, snooze room, and flight
planning center. Services include fueling, ground handling, concierge, as well
as hangar and office rentals.
Landmark Aviation’s FBO at Tampa International
Airport will also be an
addition to the company’s “Landmark Cares” facilities. These locations support
charitable efforts in the local community. For every gallon of fuel sold at our
Tampa location,
Landmark will make a donation to local non-profit and charitable organisations.
Landmark anticipates that the program could generate over $1 million in
donations to the Tampa
community over the duration of its lease.
“As part of our commitment
to improving our facilities and services, we will begin making capital
improvements immediately,” stated Bucaro. “TPA is an excellent addition to our
growing network, and increases our presence in the Florida market.”
