ONE Aviation introduces Eclipse Special Edition
ONE aviation, created earlier this year when Eclipse and Kestrel merged into one company, has introduced a new factory renewed version of the Eclipse 500.
Priced at $2.195 million, ONE Aviation say that the Eclipse 500 Special Edition includes ‘nearly all’ of the new features of the Eclipse 550.

As well as an anti-skid braking system that allows the aircraft to come to a full stop in under 750 under aggressive braking, the Special Edition also includes a dual Avio integrated flight management system.
The aircraft also comes with an updated three year warranty, as well as three year membership of the Eclipse Advantage maintenance program, which covers 300 hour and 24 month inspections.
“The Eclipse SE is much more than an upgraded Eclipse 500, it is a factory supported, like-new aircraft for a very reasonable price,” said Alan Klapmeier, ceo ONE Aviation. “Our decision to provide the SE with a 3-year Warranty and 3-year Maintenance Plan further demonstrates our goal of simplifying aircraft ownership and providing clarity, convenience, and peace of mind for our customers who own and operate an Eclipse twin-engine jet,”.
The introduction of the Eclipse 500 Special Edition replaces the company’s previous revamped Eclipse offering, the Total Eclipse.
“There are so many different configurations, options and completion levels in the TE line that it is confusing for potential customers when evaluating the value of a TE,” said Ken Ross, president of One Aviation. “In keeping with our goal to make purchasing and owning an Eclipse simple and transparent, we have introduced the Eclipse SE with the same standard features and available options as the new Eclipse 550. This makes the buying decision much easier for potential customers. With a base price of just over $2MM — about the same as a turbo-prop — the Eclipse SE is a compelling offer,” said Ross.
