Nextant appoint first Chinese service center
Nextant has appointed STAECO (Beijing) Business Jet Maintenance Co, Ltd as the company’s first authorised service center in the greater China region.
The signing ceremony will take place at Airshow China 2014, held at Zhuhai Airport, in southern China’s Guangdong province.

The announcement of the service center comes less than a week after Nextant was given the supplemental type certificate (STC) for its Nextant 400XTi re-manufactured jet.
Nextant says it will deliver the first 400XTi to a Chinese operator during the first quarter of 2015.
“The selection of STAECO BJ as our first authorised service center for China means that our customers will now receive the same quality of care and technical capabilities in China that they have come to expect from Nextant worldwide,” said Sean McGeough, president and CEO of Nextant. “We expect the Greater China region to be a significant market for Nextant and it was important to establish a world-class support infrastructure ahead of our first delivery to China.”
STAECO BJ was formed in October 2013 as a division of STAECO Jinan. It provides exclusive service to aircraft using Beijing’s CJET FBO.
“It is an exciting opportunity to work with Nextant, as Nextant is a fast-growing company like ours,” said Lin Zhongsong, general manager of STAECO BJ. “As more Chinese customers learn about the value and benefits of the Nextant remanufacturing concept, we believe its business jet fleet will grow quickly here and that’ll be excellent business for us.”
