Nextant 400XT outsideNextant Aerospace, the US company specialising in remanufactured business jets, has announced it has received EASA certification for the Nextant 400XT, after receiving the necessary paperwork.

The Nextant 400XT is built from a Hawker 400XP or Beechjet 400A aircraft stripped down to the hull. It features a Williams’ FJ44-3AP engine, new nacelles (the covering of the engines), pylons (which attach the engines to the aircraft) and some aerodynamic changes to the aircraft, as well as a completely new interior.

Nextant says that 88% of each aircraft is new – including all life-limited parts and components – and that it spends 6000 man hours converting each aircraft.
