NetJets takes delivery of first Citation Latitude
Netjets has taken delivery of their first Cessna Citation Latitude. The fractional operator took delivery of the aircraft on Dec 31.
Citation Latitude MSN 680A-0015 / N550QS left Cessna’s Wichita manufacturing facility on December 31, and stopped in Billings Logan International Airport, before flying to NetJets Port Columbus International Airport homebase.
The delivery is part of 2012 order that could see up to 150 Citation Latitude’s delivered to NetJets. The order included 25 firm orders, and options on a further 125 aircraft.
In a statement sent to Corporate Jet Investor, the company said “NetJets is pleased to confirm it has taken delivery of its first Citation Latitude demonstrator aircraft, registration N550QS. The aircraft arrived at the NetJets headquarters in Columbus Ohio on December 31, 2015. NetJets has been pre-selling the Latitude for several months and will begin delivering the aircraft to fractional share Owners this summer.”
NetJets are expecting the first Latitude to begin flying from January 18.
“The Citation Latitude is a strong addition to our worldwide fleet” said Patrick Gallagher executive vice president of Sales and Marketing. “The aircraft’s short-field performance and operating efficiency, combined with a state of the art interior that is much larger than most aircraft in its class, truly differentiates the Latitude from other midsize jets.”
