35 new jobs at Gulfstream Brunswick
The Brunswick facility adds jobs in the next year to meet the demand in completions work in 2013.
Gulfstream Aerospace announced plans to increase employment at its Brunswick facility by approximately 20 percent in the next year to support growing volume in completions work.
“Adding about 35 positions is significant growth for Gulfstream Brunswick and a boost to the community as a whole,” said Mark Burns, president, Gulfstream product support.
Birns continued “As we grow, customers can continue to count on the personalised service Gulfstream Brunswick’s employees are known for and the outstanding interiors they produce.”
Completions work includes the design, selection and installation of the cabin configuration and layout, furniture, seats, carpets and sidewall treatments, entertainment and communication systems, and galley and lavatory fixtures.
Gulfstream Brunswick is home to a completions centre and service centre. In 2011, the Brunswick employees serviced more than 100 aircraft.
