Minsheng International Jet adds five aircraft in one month
Minsheng International Jet is expanding its managed aircraft fleet with five new acquisitions.
Minsheng International Jet, the aircraft management and charter arm of Minsheng Bank, is adding five aircraft to its managed fleet of business jets this month, including a brand new Dassault Falcon 7X – delivered into Beijing on 11 April – two Gulfstream G280s and two Embraer Lineage 1000s.
Shawn Wang, assistant president of Minsheng International Jet, told Corporate Jet Investor at the company’s headquarters in Beijing that he expects to company to add an additional two aircraft each month, meaning that it will soon overtake Deer Jet – also based in China – as the world’s largest owner of Gulfstream private jets.
The aircraft operator is appearing at ABACE 2014 in Shanghai next week and will hold three back-to-back press conferences in association with its sister company, Minsheng Financial Leasing.
The ambitious company wants to provide its customers with a ‘whole solution’ for business aviation, as it looks into building a new airport close to Beijing and adding MRO and pilot training capabilities.
