Minsheng Financial Leasing unveiled as Challenger 350 customer
China’s Minsheng Financial Leasing have been unveiled by Bombardier as the previously unannounced customer behind a December 2013 order for 10 Challenger 350s.
Chinese financial lessor Minsheng has came forward as the previously unannounced customer for an order placed with Bombardier Aerospace at the end of December 2013 for 10 Challenger 350 business jets.
Originally announced on December 30 2013, Bombardier stated at the time that the deal would be worth $259 million at 2013 list prices.
Bombardier’s new Challenger 350 is set for final FAA certification later this year, with deliveries set to begin shortly afterwards.
Minsheng Financial Leasing, whose group also includes Minsheng International Jet, has ambitious plans in China and has already placed large orders with other manufacturers.
As well as today’s Bombardier order, Minsheng is also expected to announce an order with Gulfstream for around 60 aircraft.
