Metrojet Hong Kong completes 5 Gulfstream checks in month
Metrojet’s Hong Kong maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) station completed five Gulfstream aircraft base checks in the month of October.
This included multiple C inspections (heavy maintenance), as well as an engine change. The company said the checks affirmed its leading position in the region as the Gulfstream Authorised Warranty Facility (AWF).
All the checks were completed on schedule and in line with the government implementation of new quarantine arrangements, according to Metrojet.
“During these difficult pandemic times, our team of 20+ licensed engineers have been providing quality and timely services to all regional customers,” said Dave Yip, managing director MRO, Metrojet. “As a longstanding Gulfstream AWF in Hong Kong, we are pleased to have earned a positive reputation from all the new and repeat customers by providing excellent and on time service delivery.”
In September, Metrojet completed its first 2C inspection on a Gulfstream G650 in the Hong Kong MRO and found no defects.
