Maxcraft Avionics earns a supplemental type certificate for the Universal Avionics cockpit voice recorder for Beechcraft King Air 200.

Maxcraft Avionics, based at Pitt Meadows Airport near Vancouver, Canada, has earned a supplemental type certificate for the Universal Avionics cockpit voice recorder compatible with Beechcraft 200 and B200 aircraft.

The certificate was awarded by Transport Canada and will allow the company to install the Universal Avionics CVR-120A/R Cockpit Voice Recorder.

This cockpit voice recorder will meet the upcoming regulatory requirements for the use of 120 minute recorders in Beechcraft King Air 200 and B200 business turboprop aircraft.
