Luxaviation appoint new Execujet Caribbean MD
Luxaviation Group has promoted Gary Forster to managing director for ExecuJet Caribbean after nine years at the company.
Forster first joined ExecuJet Middle East in 2012 and Luxaviation Group said he was “instrumental” in helping to build and manage the new FBO in Riyadh. Following the launch, Forster went on to lead a further FBO opening in Bali and was promoted to regional FBO manager for Asia Pacific. In 2019, he was subsequently promoted to global FBO Business Development manager.
Forster said: “With over 30 years of experience within aviation, I’m looking forward to bringing my knowledge of the industry to this new role and helping to grow the company’s footprint in the Caribbean region. I’m joining the team at a really exciting time as the region has begun experiencing a high influx of bookings due to travel restriction being eased. With this in mind, I’m keen to start working with my team and exploring ways of how we can expand the company’s offering in this region.”
Forster’s role commenced on 01 June 2021 and will be based in Sint Maarten — the southern half of the island shared with Saint Martin, Caribbean. He will have overall control of the FBO on the island with additional responsibility of business development throughout the Caribbean region.
