Lufthansa Technik and NAS to expand cooperation
Two companies now to offer technical services in Saudi Arabia
Lufthansa Technik AG and NAS-Holding of Saudi Arabia are expanding their cooperation. The two partners will now offer technical services to private clients and airlines in Saudi Arabia.
This cooperation will allow the two partners to take on the complete technical care of entire fleets, from production monitoring to the start of flight operations and even the handover of an aircraft.
And there are clear benefits for customers from this new joint portfolio of technical services for the Saudi Arabian market: NAS has a local technical presence in Riyadh and Jeddah. Lufthansa Technik can contribute the know-how of a company with a worldwide network.
The agreement was signed in September 2010 and since then a team of engineers and technicians from Lufthansa Technik have supported NAS-Tech in developing capapity for maintenac and smaller overhauls. The German company has taken over all services for the engines and components of the NAS fleet of aircraft.
