London Biggin Hill starts work on new hangar
London Biggin Hill Airport has stated building a new 60,000 sq ft hangar.
“Construction of the hangar is really moving along and it’s fantastic to see the steels being installed at the site,” says Robert Walters, business development director, London Biggin Hill. “This hangar is an important development for Biggin Hill and a significant part of our plans to meet the steadily growing demand for business aviation. It will be able to accommodate six G650s or six Global 7000s and is on track to be open by the end of the year.”
The new hangar is part of an infrastructure project including office space and a business aircraft parking facility.
The airport wants to create 2,300 jobs by 2030.
