Aoife O’Sullivan, partner, The Air Law Firm says that inspections of aircraft engines are a must from a buyer’s perspective.
“You wouldn’t buy a car for $20,000 without a proper inspection of everything. It is exactly the same for a $30m aircraft.”#CJILondon

Elouisa Dalli of @jetaviation says that one of the biggest challenges for SAF is its premium price compared to traditional jet fuel.

“The good thing about SAF is that it’s a drop in fuel and can use feedstocks that would typically be treated as waste,” says Sven Rieve of Air bp.

Although there is an immediate need to lower carbon emissions, the panellists say that the industry needs to be patient and trust in the process.

Jonathan Wood of @NesteGlobal says that new legislation is a huge incentive to invest in SAF now.
