Life Flight takes delivery of an AW119Kx helicopter

AgustaWestland has announced that the Life Flight Network has accepted its first of fifteen AW119Kx single engine helicopters during a ceremony held at Heli-Expo 2013.

AgustaWestland has announced that the Life Flight Network has accepted its first of fifteen AW119Kx single engine helicopters during a ceremony held at Heli-Expo 2013.

All fifteen aircraft are expected to be delivered with this first aircraft set to be based at Aurora, Oregon.

Bob Brant, AgustaWestland Philadelphia’s VP Sales & Marketing, added “We are delighted to celebrate the acceptance of the first AW119Kx by its launch customer, a prime EMS operator in US which, we are sure, will deliver unparalleled levels of mission effectiveness and safety in all conditions thanks to its unique combination of state-of-the-art avionics, high performance and outstanding cabin space and payload.”

Michael Griffiths, CEO, Life Flight Network, said at the ceremony “We are all very excited at Life Flight Network about the acceptance of our first AW119Kx and we look forward to the aircraft entering service.”
