Landmark Oakland becomes Part 145 certified repair station

Landmark Aviation Oakland International Airport has gained authorisation as a Part 145 certified repair station. The facility now offers a full-service MRO at the FBO at the airport.

Skip Madsen, vice president of MRO at Landmark Aviation says: “We are excited to announce this major addition in our MRO network. This certification shows our commitment to grow the Landmark network and increase service offerings in order to meet the needs of our customer base.”

Landmark Aviation Okland now offers limited airframe, engine and accessories ratings to its FBO services. This adds to the facility’s avionics and mobile on-demand AOG support team, which currently services the Bay Area and many parts of Northern California.

Chris Lijesen, aircraft services manager at Oakland, adds: “We are continuously working to build on our reputation as an industry leader. Completing the process of obtaining this certification in Oakland has increased convenience for our customers as well as enhanced our overall business operation.”

Landmark Aviation has its headquarters in Houston, Texas and operates a network of fixed base operations throughout the US, Canada and Western Europe.
