Landmark Aviation is designing a new fixed based operation campus with five hangars at the San Diego International Airport. The new facility will achieve LEED Platinum certification from the US Green Building Council.
“This is a wonderful first step as we begin to develop the north side of the airfield,” said Thella Bowens, president and CEO of the San Diego County Regional Airport Authority. “We look forward to working with our partners in Landmark and Turner to improve the customer experience for our general aviation passengers.”
“This groundbreaking officially kicks off the much anticipated FBO campus development that we have all been working so hard toward,” said Landmark Aviation president and CEO Dan Bucaro.
“We are excited to get this project started, and to begin construction on a facility that will not only enhance the San Diego International Airport community, but will also provide our customers with a comfortable, spacious terminal with many new amenities,” added Bucaro.
