Landmark to acquire First Aviation Services at Teterboro
Acquisition of First Aviation Services at Teterboro should be completed by the end of the year.
Landmark Aviation announced that it has signed an agreement to acquire First Aviation Services, the fixed based operation at Teterboro Airport in Teterboro, New Jersey. The acquisition is expected to close by year end.
Teterboro is one of the largest general aviation airports in North America, conveniently located just 12 miles from Midtown Manhattan and in close proximity to several major cities in New Jersey.
First Aviation’s facilities feature a modern terminal with a wide range of passenger and crew amenities, including snooze rooms, showers, a flight planning area and a fitness center, along with secure hangar space and ample ramp space.
“We are very excited about this acquisition as it will expand our presence in the Northeast and significantly enhance our network to better serve our customers,” explained Dan Bucaro, Landmark Aviation president and CEO. “We are also looking forward to working with the employees of First Aviation and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, and becoming an active part of the Teterboro community.”
