Ken Sewell has joined the International Bureau of Aviation as the new head of aircraft transactions.

Sewell will be responsible for aircraft remarketing and associated transaction management across IBA’s managed portfolio. Sewell has over thirty five years’ experience in the aviation industry in both a technical and commercial environment.

Most recently, in 2006 Sewell joined Allco Finance Group as their marketing and portfolio manager, responsible for a fleet of over sixty aircraft. Subsequently, Sewell formed his own asset management business, providing technical, asset management and marketing consultancy services to a range of financial institutions.

Phil Seymour IBA president and COO said: “Ken brings with him a vast range of experience in aircraft transaction management and remarketing. His skill-set complements and enhances the services we offer to our asset management clients, where both the commercial aspects and the technical considerations of the aircraft are very important.”
