John Leonard moving to Mexico City for Charles Taylor Adjusting

John Leonard is to become manager for aviation in Charles Taylor Adjusting’s Mexico City office.

Leonard is moving from Charles Taylor Adjusting in London on April 6. He joined the insurance loss adjuster in 2004 and spent seven years in its Singapore office.

His main focus will be on building business in Mexico but he will also work with US colleagues on claims in Central and Latin America.

In Mexico he will work with Victor Maldonado, aviation manager, and Luis Garcia, Surveyor & Adjuster, who joined Charles Taylor in 2004 and 2005.

Before joining Charles Taylor, Leonard spent 13 years at British Airways as an airframe and engine licenced engineer. He holds a Commercial Pilot’s licence.

Charles Taylor & Co was founded around 1840 in the north-east of England as a coal merchant. In 1885 it became manager of the Standard Steamship Owners’ Protection and Indemnity Association.
