Jet Aviation appoints Johannes Turzer vice president and accountable manager at Basel

Jet Aviation recently announced the appointment of Johannes Turzer to the position of vice president and accountable manager of maintenance at Jet Aviation Basel.

Johannes TurzerJet Aviation has restructured
its top management in EMEA & Asia, appointing Johannes Turzer, formerly
vice president and general manager at Jet Aviation Dusseldorf, as the new vice
president and accountable manager of maintenance services at Jet Aviation Basel.

Turzer started in his new role
on 1 July 2011, he joined the company in 2000 as vice president and general
manager of Jet Aviation Dusseldorf and Hannover,
later assuming further responsibility for the London Biggin Hill operation.
While successfully managing these sites, he was also instrumental in
establishing Jet Aviation Moscow Vnukovo in late 2007. In his new role, he will
report to Stephan Krenz, general manager Jet Aviation Basel, on matters of
general business and to Christof Späth, Jet Aviation’s senior vice president
MRO and FBO services for EMEA & Asia, regarding maintenance issues.

“Johannes Turzer has
successfully managed Jet Aviation’s MRO and FBO operations in Germany for over
ten years and brings crucial company and industry knowledge to his new pivotal
position,” says Späth.
