Jet Aviation Dubai receives approvals for NDT

Jet Aviation Dubai has secured approvals from EASA and the GCAA in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for its Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) shop.

Jet Aviation Dubai introduced non-destructive testing as part of its maintenance service portfolio upon receiving FAA approval for its NDT Shop in November 2015.

Hardy Butschi, vice president and general manager of Jet Aviation Dubai said: “We are delighted to expand our NDT testing capabilities to offer support to EASA- and GCAA-registered aircraft operating in the Middle East and South East Asia. In a fast-paced industry such as aviation, NDT technologies help identify latent issues and are an integral part of business jet maintenance. Our in-house NDT capabilities enable us to provide these services seamlessly, which further helps reduce the downtime of our customers’ aircraft.”

Jet Aviation Dubai’s maintenance and FBO location was established in May 2005 as a joint venture company with the Al Mulla Business Group.
