Jet Aviation completes first BBJ-777 maintenance

Jet Aviation Basel has completed the company’s first maintenance contract on a Boeing BBJ-777.

The Boeing 777-200 is owned by an undisclosed Middle East customer. Re-delivery of the aircraft was completed on December 25.

“There was just one week between receiving the request and the aircraft’s arrival, but the entire team is fully prepared and very excited about the project,” said Estelle Thorin, director of maintenance for large aircraft in Basel, Jet Aviation. “This is a significant milestone for the large aircraft maintenance team, and we look forward to demonstrating our high quality maintenance services to this new customer — and all owners and operators of BBJ-777 aircraft.”
