Kraft assumes responsibility for developing business opportunities for the Basel completions centre, focusing on emerging markets. He will source business leads for VVIP completions as Jet Aviation grows its customer base in new territories.

Kraft has worked for Jet Aviation for more than 25 years and joined the Jet Aviation Basel completions centre in 2011.

In his new position, Woollaston will oversee global sales activities for the completions business, while keeping aircraft owners, operators and industry executives apprised of the benefits of assigning VVIP completions projects to Jet Aviation Basel’s completions centre.

Woollaston joined Jet Aviation Basel in March 2014 from a New Zealand-based firm, where he successfully led the company’s VIP completions business for five years.

Neil Boyle, Jet Aviation Basel’s vice president and general manager of the completions centre, said: “As part of the completions leadership team since 2011, Ruedi has made some very strategic decisions during his tenure leading sales and marketing. His decision to appoint Matt is one of them.

“Matthew has demonstrated great tenacity and resolve to add value and commitment to the team, and I look forward to him joining the Completions leadership team. Kraft and Woollaston both have proven track records in service delivery and naturally complement one another in business acumen and aviation know-how. They both will report to me as they continue to work closely together in their new roles as they build upon Jet Aviation’s existing client base.”
