Jersey registers first business jet
The aircraft register of Jersey became active on November 2, with the registration of its first business jet.
The first aircraft on the register is a Cessna Citation CJ4 (MSN 525C-0200 / ZJ-THC). The aircraft arrived on the Island on November 7 from Iceland, and will be based on the island.
The aircraft is owned by Tower House Consultants, and is a replacement for 2000 build Citation II MSN 550-0939 / N48NS.
The registry was set up with the assistance of Appleby. Brian Johnson, the company’s director of aviation said: “We are very proud to have assisted with the establishment of the JAR which we see as an exciting new addition to Jersey’s offering as a highly respected and well-established financial services centre. The JAR will provide the perfect platform for customers around the world seeking an efficient registration of private and corporate high-value jets and helicopters”.
