Jet Aviation St Louis named as ASC for CF34 engines


St Louis now an authorized service centre for General Electric CF34 engines for business aircraft

Jet Aviation St Louis has
been named an authorised service centre for GE’s CF34-3 engine, which powers the
Bombardier Challenger series.

St Louis is now approved to perform line maintenance
inspections; routine installed engine maintenance including removal and
replacement of engine components; removal and replacement of engines; removal
and reinstallation of external engine components; and inspections for
time-between-overhaul extensions. This designation also allows Jet Aviation St
Louis to provide warranty support and facilitates access to both GE parts and
technical support.

“As a Bombardier authorised service
centre, we serviced more than 110 Bombardier Challenger aircraft in 2011,” said
Skip Madsen, vice president MRO operations for Jet Aviation St Louis. “This
additional approval allows us to provide those operators with an even greater
range of support from nose to tail, paint to power.”
