Isle of Man adds 1,000th aircraft

Gulfstream's new G650ER

The Isle of Man registry has passed a significant milestone by adding the 1,000th aircraft to its register.

The 1,000th aircraft was Gulfstream G650ER MSN 6292 / M-JSWB) owned by Shanghai China-based Jisheng Wellborn Furniture Group.

The 1,000-total aircraft refers to aircraft registered since the registry began. Currently, there are around 435.

The register celebrated its tenth birthday last year, having originally been set up in 2007.

According to the registry’s website, some of the benefits in using the Isle of Man civil aircraft register include high regulatory standards and no insurance-premium tax.
